Matija Nastasic gets permanent contract with Schalke
GELSENKIRCHEN, Germany (AP) — Defender Matija Nastasic has signed a long-term deal with Schalke after arriving from Manchester City on loan.
The 21-year-old Serb, who has been playing regularly for Schalke, signed a contract until the end of the 2018-19 season.
The deal was announced one day after Schalke was eliminated from the Champions League on aggregate following a 4-3 victory at Real Madrid on Tuesday.
